What Are You Wearing During Your Zoom Meeting Calls? Lots of articles have come out pointing out what to wear for our new virtual work world. One that caught our eye was pointing out to look trustworthy and authentic , wear business casual. To look like an expert wear formal business attire. 

Wearing neutral colors will make you appear more “authentic” and “trustworthy,” and more like an “expert

According to the survey, 56 percent said neutral colors—white, beige, gray, black, brown, khaki, and navy—make someone appear more “authentic” vs. 30 percent who said bright colors do and 14 percent who said patterns (like plaids and stripes) do. The results are similar when it comes to the colors that make someone appear “trustworthy,” as 49 percent said neutral colors make someone look more “trustworthy” vs. 36 percent who said bright colors do and 15 percent who said patterns do. Another interesting development is the dress code required by some companies even if you work from home. Black seems to be the color of choice for many of these companies wanting their employees out of sweat pants and into a work ready mode.
