Clever Alice regulars will be familiar with many of Shirley Weffer’s designs. She is the creative mind behind Simply Mila, a brand with a sophisticated and avant-garde take on more casual attire. While originally from Venezuela, Shirley has made a splash in the United States market, having her designs in over 15 high end boutiques across the country. Women that love black, basics, and natural fibers will gravitate towards the unique pieces that Shirley conceptualizes, and stun at every function.
Designed and manufactured in the USA, the collection upholds an upscale, yet simple aesthetic. Previously called “Sympathy”, the rework into “Simply Mila” functions perfectly with the concepts of the design: elevated, minimal, and accessible. Quality is of paramount importance as well, with luxe minimalist pieces made from fabrics such as linen, cotton, bamboo, viscose, silk, wool, and more remaining at fair prices, with samples at a fraction of their market worth. The brand is accessible for women that love one of a kind pieces that function well and remain comfortable throughout the day. Women that have Shirley’s pieces from Clever Alice in their closet have come to rave about the compliments they’ve received when wearing them throughout New York City streets and beyond.
