Tamiko White is a fashion business entrepreneur, media personality, author, and creative brand consultant. Streamlining brand identities, carving out business strategies for emerging entrepreneurs is the business, and helping creatives grow is Tamiko’s passion and life’s work.
She has authored the paperback book "Careers in the Fashion Industry", as well as worked on the e-books "How To Get Into The Fashion Business" & "Merchandising: The Secret to Your Branding.” Her collaboration with multiple mediums for self expression and style is informed by over 20 years in the industry as a brand manager and merchandiser.
From working with designers and business behind the scenes to more public media appearances, Tamiko has played a role in generating profitability and inspiring creative talent not just through the clients she takes on but through her wide reach on national television.

What kind of student were you?
I wasn't the best student. I didn't apply myself where I needed to...I excelled in writing, English and social studies. Math and science were difficult for me and I didn't apply myself because all I wanted to do was create.
Can you tell me about a person who has been kindest to you in your life?
My best friend Regina Hall has been kindest to me. That's what attracted me to her 20 years ago. She was kind and her happiness was infectious.
What do you feel most grateful for in your life?
I am currently most grateFULL for the ability to be conscious--to be able to look at myself and learn where I need to grow and then have access to the resources to make personal changes!
Who is your favorite designer?
I don't have a favorite designer...there is way too much design and creative talent to choose one...I am currently digging FeNeol, Tibi and Philip Lim.
